Jim Boyce, the chairman of FIFA’s referees committee, has highlighted the number of "poor decisions" by Premier-League Referees.

Boyce voiced concern that more training was needed for match Officials.

“I have watched many games in the Premier League this season and I have to say I think the standard is not as good as, perhaps, it should be.” Boyce said to Sky Sports News outside the Zurich FIFA headquarters.

Simply highlighting that there is a problem with current Referee standards is a big step for FIFA. However, no mention was made of Technology or Video-Replay being used in order to help the referees. For us at CUFA, the problem is not so much training, but more the lack of Video-Replays and Technology being used by match Officials.
